What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you view a website. The so-called “third party” cookies are, instead, set by a website other than the one the user is visiting. This is because on each site they can
there may be elements (images, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains, etc.) that reside on servers other than the one of the visited site. We use cookies to improve the user experience and speed up navigation, as well as to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site itself.
Types of cookies Technical cookies
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such service” (see art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Code).
They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. The technical cookies collected and processed on the Site can be divided into: navigation or session cookies, which guarantee normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to view a recipe); functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language, the ingredients selected from the shopping list) in order to improve the service provided to them.
The installation of these cookies does not require the prior consent of users.
